Mahipal Lomror, an aggressive batter in the lower-middle order who can also give you four overs of spin, was the link-up player IPL franchises were looking for. Delhi Daredevils snaffled him for the 2016 edition, months after his exploits with the India U19 team in the World Cup.

However, it hasn’t been a cakewalk for the 24-year-old from Rajasthan, who had to fight to showcase his talent in the biggest league of world cricket. Only in 2021, playing for Rajasthan Royals, did his IPL average go past the 30 mark for once.

He joined RCB in the 2022 season. The franchise retained him for the 2023 edition, where he scored 135 runs with one fifty.
