Career Overview/ Highlight: Sandeep Sharma IPL 2013 to 2024
Boult made his IPL debut in 2015 for Sunrisers Hyderabad on the back of an impressive display of swing bowling earlier that year in the ODI World Cup. Despite being a class bowler, Boult took just 15 wickets, struggling to seal his place in the side. It was the exact case in Kolkata Knight Riders, where he went in 2017.
However, his best came with the Delhi Daredevils in 2018, where he was snapped up for INR âč2.2 crore. He picked up 18 wickets as he was given a longer run. In 2020, he was bought by the Mumbai Indians for âč3.2 crore, for whom he collected 25 wickets, Boultâs highest-ever tally in the IPL.
The Kiwi pacerâs strength has always been his ability to swing the ball into the right-hander, and this ability only got better with time in the IPL, where he has consistently been among the wickets in the last three seasons.
